Our Story

I realize this isn’t just my story—it’s one that far too many people know all too well.

The slow unraveling of someone you love. They call it the long goodbye that comes with dementia and Alzheimer’s and the realization that the moments to say the most important things are quietly slipping away.

For me, it is my Dad.

He was the kind of person who gave endlessly—sacrificing, supporting, showing up without needing to be asked. But as his memories faded, so did my chance to say what I most needed him to know: how much I loved him, how grateful I was, how his life shaped mine in all the best ways.

By the time I found the words, he could no longer hold onto them.

That regret—that ache of what was left unsaid—never really goes away. But it became my mission and the reason behind This Is Why I Love You Books.

We created these books to help others say what matters while there’s still time. Whether it’s for a parent, partner, grandparent, or child, our guided journals help you say the meaningful things that too often go unspoken.

At our core, we believe love should never be left unsaid.

These books are dedicated to my Dad, the person whose love never wavered, whose support never faltered, and whose dedication to his faith and his family is the foundation upon which I built my life and my own family. A portion of every sale will be donated in his name to help find a cure for Alzheimer's and related diseases.
